Probably the most intense and complex lecture yet led to this mind blowing graph. After sudden shouts of "Euler!" and brain crushing derivations, Prof. Hafez taught us how the graph: z^4-1=0 became such a revolutionary graph and proof of Newton's method for complex roots. Had so much trouble trying to write the code for this on my own and had to look at the key a little too often but helped me learn tremendously how to type code. My Arrival was fairly chaotic as a whole. However, it ended well with me and one other person in a four person suite, and with a ton of new, amazing friends. Cluster 3's first classes were also a bit of a shock. A fanatical, genius professor trying to explain highly-complex, third-year engineer student level algebra. Then a crash course on complex programming after lunch killed about half of our brains. Hopefully, things will get easier soon. |
